Crimson Legion
Pure blitz — dense, fast and indiscriminate. Takes anything within reach.
Vienna is under attack. Walk it back.
Eight factions have infected the city, block by block. The only weapon that works is your own two feet. Walk a loop around a city block to reclaim it, thin the swarm around each faction's mother cell, then behead it — and free Vienna.
Join the BetaThe factions aren't scripted — Google's Gemini AI drives how they behave: it sets each one's reach radius, aggression and spread pattern, then adapts them to how the city fights back. One engine, eight personalities — each with its own colour, zone and signature.
Pure blitz — dense, fast and indiscriminate. Takes anything within reach.
Claims temples and relics. Slow, but its entrenched core is hard to break.
Flows far along the waterlines — the canal and the Danube are its highway.
Dense industrial sprawl. Loves commercial, retail and office ground.
Quiet, patient creep through housing — high infection odds, low noise.
Clings to stone monuments. Slow to spread — but the hardest mother in the city.
Spreads through parks and green space. The Prater is its beating lung.
Leaps far and thin between landmarks and transport hubs. Longest reach of all.
You don't tap. You walk. Every metre is a metre taken from the virus.
Start a session and your GPS trail is drawn live on the map. Pass within 30 m of a bench, basket or point of interest and you capture it on the spot.
Walk a path that crosses itself and you've surrounded a block. Every building inside is scored and claimed in your colour — and you can name the block.
Nothing is yours forever. Every block runs a 168-hour clock. Re-walk it and the clock resets; ignore it and your colour fades to grey and the virus can retake the ground.
Loop an infected block to conquer it back. Thin the body around a faction's mother, then loop the mother itself to cut the whole faction's lifeline.
Hold ground only while your feet keep it warm. A block you walked last week is not yours today unless you walked it again — and the same tide drains the virus the moment its mother dies.
Walk the line. Surround a block. Watch it turn your colour.
Capture a bench, a shop, a landmark — and get its whole story, not just a pin on a map.
Every point of interest you pass within 30 m is captured with its complete profile and saved to your history — no extra taps, no dead ends.
Every faction has one heart. Kill all eight and the city is free.
While the mother lives, the faction spreads and reinforces itself — no amount of mopping up will stop the tide. Kill it and the faction freezes; its body withers to neutral over the next seven days.
You can't just walk up and loop a mother. Clear the buildings around its core — by conquest or decay — and the shield drops. At zero, the mother is exposed, and a single loop ends it.
Kill-bonus scales inverse to size — beheading a small faction pays the most.
No private maps. Form a team and work together against the infection — share the map, split the frontier, and bring a mother down as a unit. All of Vienna fights the same Gemini-driven factions on one shared board.
Mothers are too well-shielded to fall alone. Your team's captures show up in blue, teal and orange — coordinate to strip a frontier and expose the heart together.
Leaderboards track contribution, not luck: mothers killed, buildings reclaimed and territory held right now. Glory goes to whoever pushes the tide back furthest.
Steps, distance and blocks all count toward your score. A fitness habit and a city-wide war effort wearing the same pair of shoes.
Full team play is on its way. Share an invite link and explore together — the foundation is already there.
Stores, cafes, hidden offices, studios — places you walk past every day. Surround a block and discover everything inside, mapped from OpenStreetMap.
Leave a message on a block you hold. The bigger your captured area, the louder your message reads on the shared map — like a tag cloud of local voices.
Wipe out all eight mothers and the city is liberated — a 24-hour peace before the next outbreak seeds itself. No finish line, only how long you can hold the line.
